Paul McDowell is an Information Technology Executive, Organizational Design Expert and Software Engineer/Architect. He has over 21 years of experience leading, designing and delivering in roles from technologist to executive in large organizations.

Paul brings a unique blend of skills and perspective to his Business, I.T. and Organization Design work. His successes include:
  • designing organizations for a variety of businesses using approaches such as Requisite Organization;
  • re-engineering the lending systems of a major Canadian Bank;
  • designing and launching mission critical websites for a major publisher;
  • leading the redesign of the pay and benefits systems of a major Canadian Retailer.
His technology exposure runs from large-scale mainframes to web-based and high-volume intelligent search engines. After graduating from the University of Toronto with studies in Astrophysics and Mathematics, he earned his ICCP certification in Software Engineering and IT Management and systems software accreditation from Ryerson University. Paul also teaches a range of IT college courses.

A strong believer in good information and people system designs he is an avid film-maker and can be found on the IT and HR Organization Design speaker trails and publishing circles.
