Christine was most recently with CIBC where she held the position of Executive Vice President of Card Products, Collections, Retail and Small Business Lending. In that capacity she successfully developed and executed high growth strategies for each business, doubling the revenue and profit of the Cards business, doubling volumes in Collections with no increase in staffing, building base human and infrastructure capability in the other lending businesses. Each business was organized and managed under requisite organization principles.

Prior to joining CIBC Christine was Vice President, Credit and Finance, of Canadian Tire Acceptance Limited, a subsidiary of Canadian Tire Corporation Limited. Canadian Tire Acceptance provides credit card processing for Canadian Tire and other retailers, as well as other services including insurance, mortgages, auto and travel club. As Vice President, Credit and Finance, Christine was responsible for the effective management of the total portfolio.

Previous experience includes management and executive positions with BDH Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical products, Hershey Canada Inc., Xerox Canada Inc., and the health care industry.

In addition to complete general management accountabilities, areas of direct accountability have included Finance, Administration, Operations, Information Systems and Human Resources.

Christine graduated from McMaster University with a B.A. in Economics (1978) and from York University with an MBA (1982). Christine is also a member of the Certified General Accountants Association.

Christine has served as a director on several industry association boards - Interac, Visa Canada, Visa International. She has also been a board director of Advantex and Juniper.

Since leaving CIBC Christine is enjoying "the road less traveled".
